About
One person, two clinics,
one EMR they actually like.
ReasonEMR is being built by a solo founder, in close partnership with two clinics — one in behavioral health, one in regenerative medicine. We think that's how clinical software should be made.
Why ReasonEMR exists
Every existing EMR was built around primary care billing workflows from the 2000s. Specialty clinicians have been told for two decades to just “adapt” — fight templates that don't fit, work around screens designed for someone else's job, and burn after-hours time on documentation that doesn't serve their patients.
We took the other approach. Sit down with a clinician. Watch them work. Build the EMR around what they actually do — not the other way around.
Our first two partner clinics — one in behavioral health, one in regenerative medicine — shaped this product end-to-end. Every workflow, every note type, every report came from a real clinic doing a real thing.
Now we're onboarding one new specialty per quarter, the same way: with a partner clinic that helps shape it. The roadmap is public. The specialty list grows when a real clinician shows up to co-build it.
Founding partners
The clinics that built this with us.
A behavioral health clinic
Co-built therapy notes, psychiatric evaluations, group therapy workflows, treatment plans, and outcome tracking.
A regenerative medicine clinic
Co-built protocol planning, photo documentation, product administration, NCS workflows, and the regenerative assessment library.
Principles
What we won't compromise on.
Clinician-first design
Every feature ships only after a real clinician validates it. No hypothetical use cases, no committee-designed workflows.
Built like infrastructure
Multi-tenant, KMS-encrypted PHI, audit-logged, HIPAA + 42 CFR Part 2 ready. We build the EMR like the load-bearing software it is.
Honest by default
We don't fabricate logos, fake testimonials, or claim specialties we haven't shipped. If it's on the site, it's real.

We onboard one new specialty per quarter. The next one is decided by who shows up.
